I’ll try to start with one of mine, too, Marcinha. we can think about “followers” involving education.
like a tv programme for instance. In Brazil, some tv shows like “Fantastico” are on twitter. we can look at shows on BBC or ABC , series, and build a nice list of “followers” for the students, what do you think?

COOL LUIZ! I follow some interesting *trends* using Twitter: TEFL and English word of the day, among others. It would be really nice if our groups could also follow each other so the interaction would take place and flow with no boundaries huh? It also dawned on me that posting *what are you doing* should be done classroom basis, either as a warmer or simply during the last minutes… what do you think?
Great! Let’s DO IT!
Thanks for your contribution Luiz!
See ya soon huh?

Congrats on the iniative Marcia! Even though I´ve read lots about Twitter, I still don´t have one of my own. I´ll pitch the idea to one of my groups as well. The video is very interesting, I hope more people find the time to see it. Did she say 90 students?!? Wow
Cheers and have fun!

Marcia, the idea is to create twitter accounts with some teams and try to post some lines during the class, since you can only post 140 letter comments… It can be really fun, interactive and it will also give us the opportunity to learn more about twitting and make the best of it:)
Thanks for checking and let’s FOLLOW the trends
